We've just got back to our hotel after a great day walking on the
glacier. Our guide Tomas was excellent throughout, knowledgable and
friendly, he entertained us with Icelandic fairy tales about the region.
Ice climbing was a genuine challenge, but great fun, and leaves you
with a real sense of achievement if you can reach the top. Makes the
beer taste even better when it's over. Thoroughly recommended for anyone
travelling in south Iceland.
